Our Programs

As with each school in the York Region District School Board, Red Maple Public School supports student learning through curriculum standards set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education and many other co-curricular activities.

Our school:

• Promotes a safe and supportive learning environment -This is done through the Board's Safe and Supportive Schools Policy and Procedures, the Character Education Initiatives, and TRIBES agreements.
• Provides Special Education and ESL programs
• Participates in the Literacy Collaborative Project (Primary, Junior and Intermediate Divisions)
• Participates in the "Music Alive" festival program
• Provides a Before and After School program
• Participates in the "Together We're Better" initiative
• Participates in the Terry Fox Run and Jump Rope for Heart We are also very proud to offer the following programs to our students:
• A variety of sports and music programs
• VIP program
• Student Leadership program
• "Winits" student awards program
